Win tickets from The Falcoholic for Saints vs. Falcons

Yes, that’s right, you can win tickets for this week’s game.

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

This Sunday’s game is a very special one for the Atlanta Falcons. They have an opportunity to lock up a first-round playoff bye with a win over the Saints, and, of course, they’re facing a bitter NFC South rival. These are two high-powered offenses and sub-par defenses, and there should be a whole lot of scoring. It should be entertaining.

But the other important thing to note about this Sunday is that it’s the last regular-season game in the Georgia Dome. When the 2017 regular season kicks off, the Falcons will be in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the G-Dome will be no more.

We want you to have an opportunity to enjoy the game, and Ford has given us just that with its “Built Ford Tough Toughest Tailgate” promotion.

The details

On Thursday, the promotion kicked off with Atlanta’s own Eli Kirshtein, who is a Falcons fan, a Top Chef alumnus and a reader of this fine website. (Eli is also the chef/owner of my very favorite restaurant in Atlanta, The Luminary, which you should absolutely visit at your earliest convenience. It’s extraordinary.)

Eli partnered with Ford to honor local firefighters and their families with a tailgate lunch and fun games on Thursday, and Billy “White Shoes” Johnson was also in attendance.

On Friday, Ford and Kirshtein are working with 92.9 the Game to provide the opportunity for fans to call in to win tailgate-inspired, chef-prepared meals delivered to their home or office. The meals will be delivered in this truck, and the winner will also receive tickets to Sunday’s game and an NFLShop.com gift card.

(That’s Eli with the truck.)

Here’s the best part. On Sunday, Ford is hosting the Built Ford Tough Toughest Tailgate Stadium Game Day Experience, and Eli and legendary Falcons coach Dan Reeves will both be in attendance. This private tailgate experience before the Falcons take on the Saints includes entertainment, food cooked on-site by Kirshtein and beverages before heading into the game. Dan Reeves will sign autographs and take photos with fans. I’ll be there, too.

This is a private tailgate, but we have an opportunity for you to join me there and enjoy this experience. Keep reading.

The contests

We have two sets of tickets to give away, and each set of tickets includes two game tickets, a parking pass, and entry to the Built Ford Tough Toughest Tailgate Stadium Game Day Experience.

We’re running two separate contests. The deadline for entry is Friday, Dec. 30 at 6 p.m. ET.

Contest 1:

Submit your best Falcons photoshop, and with this contest, you can win twice. One, you’ll have the honor of seeing your fine work replace our current Facebook cover photo. Two, you’ll win one set of tickets.

Be creative, and impress us. Our editors — Dave Choate, Matt Chambers, David Walker, Kendall Jackson and myself — will collaborate to choose the winner. Please email your submissions to jeanna.thomas@sbnation.com.

Contest 2:

This one is very simple. Tell me which defensive player is the all-time franchise leader for interceptions for the Falcons. Email your answer to me at jeanna.thomas@sbnation.com so I can have a time-stamped entry, and once the contest closes at 6 p.m. ET on Friday, I’ll do a drawing to choose the winner of the second set of tickets.

You CAN enter both but you can only win once, so just bear that in mind.

If you have any question, email me or ask us in the comments.
