Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Falcoholics

Cheers to the holidays and a fun year.

It has been a magical year in a lot of ways, Falcons-wise. The Falcoholic has been around for ten seasons now, the Falcons are legitimately good and playoff-bound, and we’re seeing a team with a foundation that could make them contenders for years to come.

Yesterday was especially great, given that the Falcons went from not assured a playoff spot to a postseason berth, an NFC South title, and the lead for the #2 seed in the NFC. We’re extremely fortunate to be watching this team, and I’m not going to be guilty of doubting this team any longer.

It just so happens that the Falcons did this all with Christmas landing today. Regardless of whether you celebrate the holiday or not, I think you can appreciate the timing, and I certainly hope it put a bounce in your step today.

Today, we all deserve to bask in the glory of yesterday’s win, and to enjoy a well-earned holiday weekend. You can use this as an open thread for today’s football game, if you wish, and to chat Falcons the rest of the day. We’ll return to our usual schedule and deliver all the post-game content you expect starting tomorrow morning.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, one and all!
