Matt Ryan is undeniably enjoying the best season of his long career, which is why I barely batted an eye when I learned that he set set yet another record. This time, it was an NFL record.
NFL has confirmed that Matt Ryan completing passes to 13 different receivers this season is, in fact, a record #Falcons

One of the major reasons the Falcons have excelled this year on offense is because they’ve been willing to spread the ball around. Julio Jones had the best season of his career in 2015, but when Matt Ryan needed to spread the ball around, he had a difficult time doing so. This year, he’s thrown scoring passes to the likes of DJ Tialavea, Josh Perkins, and Aldrick Robinson, which tells you both how good he has been and how good the Falcons are at using every weapon at their disposal. It’s an impressive record for both #2 and the team.
Congratulations to Matt Ryan on yet another record. Let’s hope this is all in service of a deep playoff run where Ryan gets to set some postseason records, too.
