The Falcons are bringing in 2x Pro Bowler, 1x All Pro, and 0x Super Bowl winner Dashon Goldson, per the team’s official twitter account.
The #Falcons have signed S Dashon Goldson to the active roster.

You might have come here to find out why. The Falcons clearly liked Goldson. He was signed earlier this season after Keanu Neal was injured. He played just a few snaps and made one tackle. I have no idea why the Falcons brought him back.
Kemal Ishmael has gone to injured reserve and the team is short on depth behind Keanu Neal. Speaking of depth issues, Atlanta is pretty thin at corner. Desmond Trufant went to injured reserve. His backup, Jalen Collins, is hurt and his return date isn’t terribly clear. Brian Poole is still at nickel, but the team’s only remaining corner is converted wide receiver C.J. Goodwin.
The secondary will be short on depth, and now with the signing of Goldson, it will be a little shorter on talent.
