In less than an hour and a half, we’ll be watching kickoff between the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams. There’s more intrigue here than we’d like, given the Falcons’ injuries and how desperate the Rams have to be for a win, and there are playoff implications in every single game left this season. Atlanta needs to win.
To do so, they’ll need to muster a stronger offensive effort than they did a week ago against Kansas City, and a much stronger defensive effort. Los Angeles is a clearly inferior football team almost across the board when compared to the Chiefs, but they do have a running back with upside and a handful of dominant defensive players, and thus the Falcons will have their hands full for at least some of the time. The rest of the time, hopefully, they’ll be dominating Jeff Fisher’s crew.
Here’s what you’ll need to know today.
