Desmond Trufant injured, questionable to return

Desmond Trufant has been remarkably durable for the Atlanta Falcons, but he’s out of this game against the Buccaneers, and he may not be coming back.

The team is up 20-14 as I write this, and we’ll have to hope that Trufant either is healthy enough to return or gets enough rest between taking the rest of this game off and the bye week to be back in action against the Eagles. This defense is not the same without him, to put it mildly.
