The Falcons inactive list isn’t full of major surprises, due to injuries that have happened over the past few weeks, but there are some intriguing stories behind the list.

First off, it looks like C.J. Goodwin will hit the bench while controversial second year corner Jalen Collins will be active. The team needs to see what they have in Collins (outside of special teams) and that should happen tonight. Additionally, recently signed running back Steven Ridley will also be active, though it’s unclear whether he’ll get any meaningful snaps in the game.

For the first time this year, rookie TE Joshua Perkins is also active, with Jacob Tamme out due to a shoulder injury suffered against the Packers. Perkins impressed the coaches in the preseason, so it will be interesting to see if he can contribute at all in this game.

With Dwight Freeney out, the Falcons pass rush will rely heavily on Adrian Clayborn and Vic Beasley tonight. If the team is going to have success in shutting down the Bucs offense, these two players will need to pressure Jameis Winston tonight.
