The Atlanta Falcons had a few injuries at running back and ended up signing Terron Ward and Stevan Ridley. Terron Ward got a few drives in the last few weeks, but Ridley only got three carries. And as quickly as he was signed, he’s gone.
The Falcons have released Stevan Ridley

Ridley was once a great chain mover for the New England Patriots. He tore up his knee early in 2014 and has sadly never returned to his former glory. He played briefly for the New York Jets last season. After another unimpressive stop, Ridley’s career may be over.
The good news is the release suggests that Tevin Coleman should play on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
