Which Atlanta Falcons should be Pro Bowl bound this season?

We have some suggestions.

The Atlanta Falcons are just about to wrap up their bye, and they finish the year with six games that will determine whether they make the playoffs or not. So long as they don’t implode entirely, the Falcons should at least finish the year with a winning record and a shot at the NFC South. That and a high-powered offense will, inevitably, garner them some Pro Bowl nods.

The question is who goes. The Falcons’ official account is already making its Pro Bowl push for guys like Julio Jones and Vic Beasley, but I sat down briefly and tried to figure out who seemed likely to go this year when all is said and done. It’s a solid list.

  1. Matt Ryan
  2. Julio Jones
  3. Alex Mack
  4. Vic Beasley
  5. Keanu Neal
  6. Matt Bryant

This might change a little bit in the coming weeks, of course. Devonta Freeman and Patrick DiMarco should probably be on the cusp of a Pro Bowl berth, Desmond Trufant would be there if not for a couple of shaky games and a missed game, and you can make your usual strong case for Matt Bosher. This is a decent crew, though, and more than I think any of us would have expected at the beginning of the year. If Atlanta wins the next two or three games and keeps a strong push for the postseason going, you will probably see more than the guys on this list.

Who would you send to the Pro Bowl?
