Matt Bryant breaks another Falcons franchise record against Eagles

He’s now the franchise record holder for field goals.

Matt Bryant already owned the franchise scoring record for the Atlanta Falcons, and now he’s passed Morten Andersen in another metric. With his third quarter field goal that brought the Falcons within a point, Bryant now has more field goals than anyone else in franchise history.

Again, it’s remarkable that he’s still this good, considering a significant portion of his 2015 season was wiped out by injury and he’s over 40 years old. He’ll go down as the greatest kicker in franchise history regardless of what he does going forward, considering he now has more points and more field goals than anyone else, and has nailed a countless number of clutch kicks over the years.

Congratulations to Money Matt Bryant, may he kick for Atlanta until he is 50 years old.
