After breaking a tackle on a third and long, Jacob Tamme fell awkwardly and laid on the Georgia Dome turf for a good minute. The newscast said he's heading back for X-rays to see the extent of the damage.

Tamme has been having a very good year, and his injury will likely limit Kyle Shanahan's tight end heavy formations. Explosive rookie Austin Hooper should get plenty of snaps and had a catch a few plays after Tamme went down.
