Falcons vs. Packers 2016: Who to watch against Green Bay

We're watching these guys super close this week.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta will try to snap a two-game lose streak as they take on the Packers this afternoon, and God knows they need it.

Here's who we're watching as the Falcons try to salvage my weekend after a Tennessee loss.

Devonta Freeman, Running Back

With Coleman out, Freeman will be carrying the bulk of the load against Green Bay. The Packers' defense is an underrated unit and boasts the league's number one run defense. They'll likely struggle to contain the passing attack, though, which should give Freeman a favorable matchup.

Julio Jones, Wide Receiver

Julio could have a field day today. Green Bay's secondary is in a full-blown body cast -- leaving their 4th and 5th string guys to fill in as the number one and two corners. If Julio ends up exposing their injuries, it could lead to a strong game from Mohamed Sanu that's badly needed.

Jalen Collins, Cornerback

Will he see any play-time, or is he still bound to special teams duties and the sideline? This whole Collins situation is weird, and the Falcons must start seeing what they have in him with Robert Alford slated to hit free agency. If Collins sees the field, he may not have to face Randall Cobb or Ty Montgomery, as both are questionable.

Who are you watching this afternoon?

Update

Randall Cobb will not play versus the Falcons.
