Falcons vs. Packers: What you need to know for Week 8

New, comments

The Falcons will be looking to bounce back, and the Packers will be looking to continue to actually play well.

This is arguably the worst Packers team we’ve seen in a long time, and they’re a banged up bunch. That doesn’t mean they’re not a dangerous team, however, and the Falcons certainly aren’t going to take them for granted after losing (in stylish black jerseys) to the Chargers this last weekend.

Green Bay still has Aaron Rodgers, however shaky his play has been, and compelling receiving options in the form of Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. They also have the top-ranked run defense in the NFL, at least until Devonta Freeman gets rolling against them, and will give the Falcons a tough game, in all likelihood. It’s imperative that Atlanta doesn’t let a two game stretch at home turn into two losses, so they’ll need to put last week behind them early and, you know, not blow it in the second half.

Here’s what you’ll need to know for Sunday’s game.
