Mohamed Sanu will play despite separated shoulder, per ESPN

He should not be considered 100%, in other words.

We knew Mohamed Sanu has been dealing with at least one injury, but this sounds a little more painful than we had hoped.

A separated shoulder is no joke, though it isn’t necessarily going to stop you from playing. We don’t know if Sanu’s is relatively mild or more severe, but either way, he’s likely going to be playing in some pain, and cannot be considered 100% against the Panthers. He likely won’t be truly 100% for a few weeks, and that’s assuming he doesn’t aggravate the injury somehow.

If Sanu has trouble with the injury today, expect Aldrick Robinson, Justin Hardy, and Taylor Gabriel to all get more snaps as he rests. The Falcons are a little deeper at receiver this year, which certainly helps, but we’ll hope Sanu can go and be effective while he’s at it.
