What you need to know to watch the 4-1 Falcons challenge Dan Quinn’s former Seattle Seahawks.

The Falcons proved they were a good team a week ago. Now they can prove, definitively, that they can beat just about anybody in the NFL.

Taking on the Seahawks will in some ways be more challenging than Denver, because while the Broncos have a terrific defense, they do not have Russell Wilson at quarterback. A rested Seattle team that is pretty familiar with Dan Quinn’s preferred defense is one of the tougher matchups on the docket, and will be another major test for this new-look Atlanta team.

If Atlanta loses this game, I don’t take their status as contenders any less seriously, because Seattle is so good. If they win, however, they’ll be 5-1, in complete control of the NFC South, and looking as good as they have in years. Let’s hope they win, then.

Here’s what you need to know for the game ahead.
