With Matt Bosher’s return to health, there’s no further need for a practice squad punter, and Davis Tull has returned.
Falcons sign LB Davis Tull to the practice squad and waive P Michael Palardy off the practice squad— Atlanta Falcons (@AtlantaFalcons) October 11, 2016
As I wrote when the team first signed Tull, he has some upside as a pass rusher and has quality athleticism, but he hasn’t really put that together and cracked a lineup in the NFL just yet. Hopefully with a little time to marinate, he can become a useful special teamer and reserve for the Falcons in 2017 and beyond, because they’ll likely need some cheap options in those roles.
Palardy was just on the practice squad in case the Falcons were without Bosher, but the mightiest leg in the NFL was fine, and so off he goes. We wish him luck.
