Tonight was the Pro Bowl draft and if I'm as smart as I think I am, the Falcohol-sipping masses will be pleased. Due to some quality drafting, all four Atlanta Falcons will play for "Team Irvin." Huzzah! The complete rosters can be found here, if you would like to peruse them.
Why should you care? Because it at least makes this game a little more fun to watch for Falcons fans. And you're a Falcons fan. Devonta Freeman was named a team captain and his team used their second pick to select Julio Jones, one pick ahead of the very verbal, very talented Richard Sherman. For what it's worth, Desmond Trufant was the next cornerback selected by "Team Irvin," ten picks ahead of Adam Jones. Our trusty fullback Patrick Dimarco was a "pre-selected pick."
So there you have it. A Falcon-heavy Pro Bowl team, run by Michael Irvin. Should be interesting. Your thoughts?
