AFC Championship Game schedule: Brady vs. Manning game time, predictions, and pick

The Sunday early game features a familiar rematch of quarterbacks.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

If you go back to the 2004 Super Bowl, the NFC has seen 10 different quarterbacks reach the Super Bowl, with only Eli Manning and Russell Wilson repeating. The AFC side, meanwhile, has seen steady doses of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Ben Roethlisberger, and once again, Brady or Manning will represent the conference in the year's biggest game.

Some people love that enduring rivalry, but I can definitely say I prefer the NFC side, where you've had variety and fresh faces every year. Still, this is an opportunity for Brady to burnish his legacy as one of the best players ever, and for Manning to redeem a sometimes shaky playoff history. It should be a good game.

Here's everything you need to know to watch it tomorrow, and keep an eye out for our open thread.

Schedule

AFC Championship: New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos, 3:05 p.m. EST, CBS

Odds

The Patriots are favored by 3

Pick

I'm going with the Patriots here. The Broncos have a scary, scary defense and a strong ground game, but both of their quarterback options are arguably liabilities right now, and the Patriots have Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Emperor Palpatine in a hoodie. They'll win, 28-20.
