If the Falcons are going to be better in 2016, they obviously need to nail free agency and the draft. They also need major contributions from players already on the roster, and specifically, they could use real improvement from some players who were only moderately useful this past season.
The obvious candidates here are young players, like rookie cornerback Jalen Collins or rookie receiver Justin Hardy, who had up-and-down rookie seasons but have a ton of talent. Then there's Ra'Shede Hageman, who definitely improved from year one to year two, but has immense potential. And finally, we have someone like Matt Ryan, who had an off year that he can't afford to repeat.
Personally, I'm very bullish on Hageman finally making the leap...but I was heading into 2015, too. I'm interested in hearing who your top candidate for massive improvement is, and why you think they'll break out for Atlanta in 2016. Enlighten us.
