It didn't go exactly as planned, but the NFL's Wild Card weekend managed to pack a lot of bad football and a couple of surprising outcomes into a couple of days.
The Carolina Panthers received their toughest possible matchup, which is the only thing I really and truly cared about over the weekend. Otherwise, there's just some interesting battles, with the Patriots against a strong Chiefs team, the Broncos facing off against an unpredictable Steelers team, and the suddenly resurgent Packers against the very talented Cardinals.
At this point, I've got the Cardinals and Patriots matching up, but we'll see.
