McClure is also reporting that linebacker Derek Akunne will be added to the practice squad.

The cuts are in, and now the Falcons will actively determine ten players who get to stick around on the practice squad.

The Falcons are adding a former Dolphins running back to their practice squad.

Gillislee was in Florida with Dan Quinn, but the former fifth round pick has only six career carries in two seasons.

2:13 p.m. Another familiar name is added to the practice squad.

5:21 p.m. The final list McClure tweeted is actually not the final list. McClure clarified on Twitter that he tweeted that list erroneously. He also said that the transaction to drop Starr did not go through, and Starr will have to clear waivers tomorrow before he can be added to the practice squad. It's also possible that the Falcons will choose to add Starr to the active roster with Brooks Reed headed for short-term IR.

6:30 p.m. Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net says that NT Joey Mbu has been added to Atlanta's practice squad.

9:04 p.m. Vic Carucci, Bills beat writer for the Buffalo News, is reporting that the Falcons will add QB Matt Simms to the practice squad.
