NFL Roster Cuts 2015: Falcons begin to make moves Friday afternoon

Here's a running list of players the Falcons have reportedly cut as they work to trim the roster to the final 53.

Update: 5:18 p.m.

The Falcons have announced the first wave of cuts, trimming the roster down to 67. Fourteen more to go by 4 p.m. tomorrow.

If you wondered how the more mobile T.J. Yates would do in Kyle Shanahan's offense, his cringe-worthy play in the preseason was certainly enough to make you stop ever wondering about Yates again. The new staff had seen enough, per WSB's Zack Klein.

After the Falcons dragged Rex Grossman out of retirement, Yates' fate was sealed. He completed three out of his four passes in 2014 regular season, and by my estimate, 4% of his passes this preseason

Add Rex Grossman to the list. The veteran didn't necessarily impress in preseason action last night.
