Predict the final score of Falcons vs. Ravens in Week 4

New, comments

A score prediction for a game where the score hardly matters.

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Falcons play the Baltimore Ravens tonight in a game that's primarily meaningful for those who are battling hard for roles and jobs on these two football teams. That's not going to stop us from projecting the score, though.

The key here is to remember that you're going to have primarily second-and-third team offenses and defenses playing against one another, so determining a score is going to come down to whether you believe the Ravens' and Falcons' backups are better on the offensive or defensive side of the ball. I'm going to go with a potential shootout, myself.

Also remember that while projecting the score of the game is a good time, the final score of this one could not matter less. All we need to see is quality play from backups and clarification for the remaining roster battles and we'll be ready for the regular season, and in particular the Monday Night Football opener against the Eagles.
