All in all, the Atlanta Falcons are in pretty good shape heading into Sunday's game. The Dallas Cowboys? They are of course short Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, any running back of note, and potentially Jason Witten. Additionally, backup tight end James Hanna, and DE Randy Gregory did not participate in practice.
The Falcons will be facing a team completely devoid of skill players. Perhaps their impressive offensive line can push Darren McFadden to over 3.0 yards per carry.
What will the Falcons look like? Their injury report lists the following players as limited:
DE Malliciah Goodman (elbow), LB Paul Worrilow (calf), NT Paul Soliai (knee), WR Julio Jones (hamstring), and LB Justin Durant (foot).
Impressive news that Goodman has returned from his elbow injury so soon, and may be able to return sooner than expected. The remaining players were limited hopefully for precautionary reasons, and will likely play on Sunday.
Who is out? RB Tevin Coleman (ribs), LB Brooks Reed (groin), WR Devin Hester (toe), and DE Kroy Biermann (non-injury related). Coleman and Reed are not expected to play, and Hester has previously stated that he will wait until his toe is fully healed to return. The Falcons have been missing his special teams speed, and it looks like we will continue missing it.
