Falcons Uniform History: #94 belongs to Henri Crockett

The former Falcons linebacker owns the number, largely due to a lack of competition.

It's hard to believe, considering that we started this months ago, but we're almost to the end of the Falcons uniform history. Ah, such memories.

This one's one of the easier ones. Number 94 belongs to Henri Crockett, who was a five year starter at linebacker for Atlanta. He was a solid but unspectacular starter, with 6.5 sacks, a solid reputation as a well-rounded 'backer, and 61 starters. That's more than enough to beat out his competition here, which is made up of part-timers, guys who wore the uniform briefly, and so on.

His chief competition for the designation is, believe it or not, Peria Jerry. He was never the same after his catastrophic early career injury, but he quietly put together a few solid years as a rotational guy in Atlanta, and that's enough to keep him in the conversation at #94. I suppose the immortal Chad Lavalais should be mentioned, as well.

A salute to Henri Crockett, then.
