At 7:10 sharp, the Atlanta Falcons kick off the 2015 season against the Philadelphia Eagles. This is a time of excitement and uncertainty for fans and the team alike, because no one's quite sure what this new-look Atlanta squad is going to be able to do in 2015, and we're all eager to find out.
Against the high-flying Eagles, the Falcons will hope a retooled defense will be good enough to keep them in the game. The offense looks generally competent-to-stellar except along the offensive line, where there's more question marks than you'll find in an angsty teenage poem. If the Falcons block well and at least put a competent defense on the field, I think they've got this one. If they don't, it has the potential to get very ugly against a Chip Kelly coached team with no brakes on its offense.
Either way, you'll be watching every minute to get an early feel for this Falcons team. Join us here.
