Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank has had a pretty big question on his plate: will he dedicate substantial money to paying the dominant, but oft-injured Julio Jones? The Falcoholic's Jeanna Thomas was present at Sunday's camp when Blank addressed the media.

This should be good, considering Blank is not always available to the media.
Blank says talks with Julio are moving ahead. Expects 11 to be "a lifer with the Falcons."

That is a pretty strong statement from the team's owner, considering they are likely in active negotiations with Julio's agent. This is fantastic news if Jones can continue on his current career path. He has been breaking records at a previously unseen pace, and should easily go down as the greatest wide receiver to ever play for the Falcons.
Blank says Julio's attitude about extension is just what he expected and that team has a good relationship with his agent. It'll get done.

Blank is so positive about this contract that we could expect to see Jones sign a long-term agreement within the next few weeks, if not days, probably for similar money to what Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas received this offseason.
