Falcons Injury Report: RaShede Hageman cleared to practice

Desmond Trufant and RaShede Hageman were in full pads for the first time since they suffered their respective injuries.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Prior to today's practice, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn shared some promising news on current injuries with the media.

RaShede Hageman, who has been under the league's concussion protocol was cleared for practice. Per Andrew Hirsh of AtlantaFalcons.com, Hageman was in full pads for today's practice.

Quinn also said that he expected Desmond Trufant, who's been dealing with a shoulder injury for a couple of weeks, to return to the practice field this week. Trufant was also on the field in full pads today.

Roddy White, who had what Quinn termed "minor surgery" yesterday to repair an issue in his elbow that was causing some swelling, is expected to return to Flowery Branch tomorrow. White should be cleared to practice within seven to ten days, per Quinn.

Quinn indicated before practice that Antone Smith is not yet ready to return to the field, but Andrew Hirsh also reported that Smith was working with trainers and doing some jogging during practice. This marks the first time Smith has been able to do this since he suffered the hamstring injury during the first preseason game.

If you're concerned about Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, Hirsh also said they both looked fine during today's practice.

I was unable to attend practice today, but I'll be back at it tomorrow and will have a full report afterward.
