The novelty hasn't worn off for me yet. Compulsively checking Twitter for updates on living, breathing football players doing football things is still fresh. It will be fresh for a long while yet.
Practice kicks off again today at 10 a.m. and lasts until noon, so if you have the chance to get down to Flowery Branch before the work week starts, I'd recommend it. Just be aware there are some scattered thunderstorms in the forecast, and if practices move inside, you won't be able to watch them.
