Atlanta Falcons kicker Matt Bryant kicks like an angry donkey. I have sympathy for any football unlucky enough to acquaint itself with his foot.
In 2015, Bryant could break the Falcons records for field goals made and extra points made. In 2014, Bryant missed only 3 field goals, all 40+ yard attempts. He made 29 field goals, 7 of them 40+ yard attempts. At 39-years-old, Bryant isn't regressing, he's getting better. The Falcons gave Bryant a 3 year, $8.5 million extension in February, and he will earn every dollar of that contract. Why? Because he's among the best in the game at what he does.
Huge props to Pro Football Focus for all the hard work they put in. This is Special Teams week over at PFF. They're starting with kickers. Here's the complete article. Go read it now, if you haven't already.
Bryant is an absolute stud. He's been a model of consistency and reliability during his tenure with the Falcons. Your thoughts?
