It took a while, but first round pick and potentially terrific pass rusher Vic Beasley has signed with the Atlanta Falcons, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The Falcons signed outside linebacker Vic Beasley to a four-year contract wright over $14 million today .

The promising Beasley was the eighth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and arguably the best pure pass rusher in the entire class. He joins a Falcons team that hasn't had a legitimate double digit sack threat since John Abraham was so rudely pushed out, and he should immediately step into a starting role. The Falcons will find a way to use his speed and athleticism at LEO and at outside linebacker, so even if he's not immediately a great player, he should be a fun one.
With that, the Falcons have their entire 2015 rookie class signed, and we can begin the business of talking about mandatory minicamp, which kicks off next Tuesday. Let's all officially welcome Beasley to the Falcons, and wish him luck as he sets out to destroy all the quarterbacks he faces.
