Atlanta's rookie signings continue: Hardy, Rodgers and King are now Falcons

After a slew of draft pick signings, the Falcons only have two unsigned rookies.

With the new rookie wage scale, there is really no reason for a team or player to delay in signing their rookie draft class. Luckily, it appears that the Falcons will not be the exception and should have their rookies completely signed in the oncoming days.

According to ESPN's Atlanta Falcons reporter Vaughn McClure, the Falcons are moving very quickly to sign their rookies.

Second-round pick Jalen Collins, fourth-round pick Justin Hardy, fifth-round pick Grady Jarrett, and seventh-round selections Jake Rodgers and Akeem King are all under contract. The terms of the contracts were not immediately available.

That is pretty quick moving. King and Rodgers were selected right about seven days ago and are all ready to go.

The two remaining rookies are perhaps the most popular players from the draft class: top pass rusher Vic Beasley and running back Telvin Coleman. Both should be locked up long-term within the next few days.
