If you'll remember, the Falcons were not favored heading into this matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, who had finished the regular season 15-1. The Falcons, of course, did win on a late-game Morten Andersen field goal, but the first half saw the Falcons struggle to keep up with the Vikings. Atlanta entered the half trailing by six, with Minnesota's efforts helped along by two Falcons fumbles.
