Everyone's been chomping excitedly at their leather restraints in anticipation of public minicamp and training camp dates being announced. Take it from me: Baking in the hot sun while watching the Falcons practice is a hell of a lot of fun.
We still don't know when training camp is or when it will be open to the public, but what we do know is that the team will open their mid-June mandatory minicamp to the public. Per D. Orlando Ledbetter at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, here's the schedule.
Tuesday, June 16: 1:10 p.m.
Wednesday, June 17: 1:10 p.m.
Thursday, June 18: 10:55 a.m.
All three will be held at the team's facilities in Flowery Branch, and chances are you won't get more than a couple of hours of fairly limited action. It'll be worthwhile to see the new players the team has added and experience that already famous Dan Quinn fire for yourself, though, so I'd see if you can wriggle out of work one day that week and head over to the practice field.
In case you've forgotten, here's the team's offseason workout schedule in the form of organized team activities. Those are essentially non-contact practices.
