The Falcons addressed their offensive line needs by selecting Eastern Washington guard/tackle Jake Rogers.
Rodgers is an athletic former tight end that will be a perfect fit in Atlanta's new zone blocking scheme. At 6-foot-6 and over 320 pounds, he has experience playing all across the offensive line at both Washington and Eastern Washington. He predominately played at the right tackle position, but was also plugged in at left tackle, left guard, and right guard.
One of the big problems with Rodgers was a knee injury that cost him most of his 2013 season. He returned last year and started every game at right tackle. He provides nice versatility and likely decent depth early in his career. It looks like he'll start out at tackle.

At his pro day, Rodgers ran the 40 in 5.24 seconds, put up 24 reps on the bench, and an 8.04 second three cone drill.
As mentioned by ESPN's Vaughn McClure, Rodgers suffered a terrible tragedy after transferring to Eastern Washington.

As you have seen previously in this draft, the Falcons are hitting well on value by selecting Rodgers right about where he should be going. As you can imagine with a 7th round selection, Rodgers will need some work but does not face much competition with Atlanta's current roster to get some starting snaps. He may even get the nod on the offensive line over Levine Toilolo.
Update: So much for the long wait trying to figure out his position.
