The Atlanta Falcons offseason schedule has been revealed, and that schedule reminds us that there's an awful long stretch of nothing before OTAs kick off in late May.
According to NFL, Falcons OTAs are May 26-29, June 2-3, June 5, June 9-12; Voluntary minicamp April 27-30; Mandatory minicamp: June 16-18

The team's offseason program officially kicks off on Monday, which will give Dan Quinn and the players an opportunity to get together, talk scheme and learn about the true meaning of love and life at Flowery Branch. Organized team activities are the first real opportunity for the team to practice together, even if it's a modest opportunity, and minicamp in June is a bigger opportunity. By this point, we'll know who the team's incoming rookies are, and it'll be great to get a look at them alongside guys like Antone Smith, Marquis Spruill and Joe Hawley, who are returning from injuries.
With Jeanna Thomas on the scene, we should have some great updates for you once those dates roll around. We don't know when training camp will kick off just yet, and we don't usually find out until late May or June. Even so, football's not all that far away, so you may officially start to get excited and/or grouse again.
