2015 schedule: Examining the Falcons' toughest stretch

The Falcons have a largely favorable schedule in 2015, but there is a spot where they could stumble.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off a 2014 campaign in which they finished 6-10, the Falcons should be able to improve in 2015 with the easiest schedule in the league.

Atlanta's opponents for next season finished with a combined 104-150-2 (.409) record in 2014. Of course, the Falcons played in an abysmal NFC South, which was won by the Carolina Panthers with a 7-8-1 record.

The fact remains, however, that only four of Atlanta's 2015 opponents (Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Houston Texans) finished with a winning record in 2014.

In what will likely be their toughest stretch, the Falcons face three of those four teams right out the gate in the first four weeks of the season.

Atlanta opens the year with a primetime home game against the Eagles. They're on the road the next two weeks to face the New York Giants and then the Cowboys. After the mini road trip, the Falcons are back at home to host the Texans.

If they're not careful, the Falcons could find themselves in a hole just four weeks into the 2015 season.

What do you think will be the Atlanta's toughest stretch?
