Todd McClure will announce the Falcons' second round draft pick

Todd McClure is a franchise icon. He's one of the most durable players to suit up for the Falcons, he was a solid-to-terrific center his entire career and he earned the respect of his peers and fans during his 198 games in Atlanta.

Given all that, it just makes sense that McClure will be announcing the Falcons' second round pick on May 1st. He joins luminaries including Hall of Famers Claude Humphrey and Deion Sanders, who announced picks in 2013 and 2014, respectively.

Let's hope McClure gets the opportunity to introduce a truly great player, eh?
