A breakdown of the Falcons roster, pre-draft edition

With the NFL Draft looming, I thought it would be a good time to take a deep breath and look at the entire roster as it stands before a bunch of rookies come in and (hopefully) improve this team. It's not a pretty picture just yet.

This is a top-heavy team on offense and a team with a lot of options on defense, but not a ton of them are appealing at the moment. We'll be hoping for major strides from at least a couple of the young linebackers listed here, as well as intriguing young pass rushing talent like Stansly Maponga.

The starters listed are my best guess, but there's no particularly orderly depth chart following that, so don't be bewildered by the order in which I've listed the reserves. There's a lot of sorting out yet to come, after all.
