In unfortunate, but not unexpected, news, defensive tackle Corey Peters appears to be set to sign with the Arizona Cardinals once free agency officially begins tomorrow at 4:00 p.m., per ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure.
It looks like Falcons DL Corey Peters will end up with the Arizona Cardinals. Likely Peters and Sean Weatherspoon together.

Peters was drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of the University of Kentucky. He has 11 career sacks, seven pass deflections, one interception and one forced fumble over the course of his career. Peters has been a solid player, and Arizona is a good place for him to land. He'll likely have a friendly face on the roster with him, as teammate Sean Weatherspoon is also expected to sign with the Cardinals.
McClure is also reporting that it's a pretty good deal for Peters.
Peters deal, once signed, will be a three-year deal with the Cardinals. Expected be more than $3.5 mil per season.

Peters will be missed in Atlanta, and we wish him all the best with the Cardinals.
