We're steering into a bit of an NFL dead zone, which means the occasional discussion thread is a must to keep you guys entertained and debating.
We begin with evoking a happy memory for Falcons fans. What I want to hear is the perfect moment from your fandom, the one second or minute or event hour where all the hassles that come with being a fan of this team melted away and you achieved something roughly equivalent to bliss. Lord knows we've all known far too many moments that have made us think misery is the norm.
For me, as obvious at it is, it would be the moment after Morten Andersen hit the game winner in the '98 Conference Championship game. Realizing that the Falcons were heading to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history, and the thought that I might be able to see them actually win one, was still the most powerfully happy moment of my years as a Falcons fan.
Once the warm and fuzzy feelings have worn off, we'll move into the worst moment of your fandom, likely this weekend. I'm sure you can't wait.
Sound off in the comments.
