The 2015 SB Nation mock draft has started, plus a history of our Falcons mock picks

A storied SB Nation tradition continues, with writers playing general managers for a short time in late March.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

One of the time-honored traditions at SB Nation is the writers' mock draft, where all 32 of our blogs chime in with their preferred picks for the draft ahead. This is the ninth year Mocking The Draft has been at it, and I've actually been around for every single one of those years and one more besides, which makes me feel ancient in Internet years.

The draft has already kicked off, with our friendly enemies at Bucs Nation taking QB Jameis Winston with the first overall pick. Dan Kadar will be posting three picks per day as we roll through this, which means the Falcons will be coming up at mid-week. We'll announce that pick simultaneously right here on The Falcoholic.

Here's all the picks (that I can locate) that I've made over the years in the SB Nation writers' mock. As you can see, it's been a decidedly mixed bag.

2014: LB Khalil Mack | T Morgan Moses
2013: DE Tank CarradineCB David Amerson
2012: RB David Wilson
2011: DE/LB Justin HoustonT Marcus Gilbert
2010: LB Sean Weatherspoon
2009: ILB James Laurinitis | S Michael Hamlin
2008: T Jake Long | QB Joe Flacco | DT  | CB Tracy Porter | RB Tony Hunt
2007: Yes, it goes back this far, but I literally can't find my pick

I've already made my pick at #8 and I'm pretty pleased with it. See if you can guess who I wound up with ahead of the big reveal on Wednesday.
