The Falcons are kicking the tires on the controversial Shane Ray. Along with... the Titans? Are they trying to steal all of our pass rushers?
Talented OLB Shane Ray has pre-draft visits lined up with the #Ravens, #Falcons, #Titans and #Jaguars. Three teams w/ a pick in the top-10.

The Falcons are widely expected to take a pass rusher with their 1st round selection, and odds are they will visit with all of the top players. Our very own Jake Bennett wrote a draft profile on Ray way, way back in December. He came away impressed.
Ray is a player who will beat you with speed. His initial burst off the snap is on par with the best of them, and his closing speed is there to match. However, don't let his speed fool you. Although he could improve it, Ray's functional strength is highly underestimated.
Ray is expected to show his speed at the Mizzou pro day after failing to run the 40 at the combine thanks to an ankle injury. Still, there are questions about the 6-foot-3, 245-pound player. He is pretty small to play defensive end, but the Seahawks drafted Bruce Irvin, who was 6-foot-3 and 245-pounds, to play a pass rushing role in their defense.
Thoughts about the interest? Is this mere due diligence or true interest?
