Falcons receiver Roddy White has demonstrated a commitment to helping others throughout his pro career, from the work of his foundation that benefits children in need, to the camps he hosts to help teach young people the fundamentals of football.
Dates were recently announced for White's third-annual football camp, the Kroger Roddy White Football ProCamp presented by Academy Sports and Outdoors and Sunny D, which will be held on June 13th and 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Flowery Branch High School in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The camp is open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 8, and focuses on teaching fundamental football skills through small group instruction and non-tackle games.
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk to and learn from Roddy White, and all attendees will receive a limited addition Roddy White ProCamps t-shirt, a camp team photo with Roddy, and White's autograph. The cost of the camp is $99, and group rates are available for schools, teams, or just groups of friends who wish to attend together. Contact James Dowdall from ProCamps for details.
Registration is now open through the ProCamps website. If you register using a Citi credit card, you can save 20% on the registration fee, which is a pretty good deal.
Have your kids attended any Falcons' players' camps? What was their experience like?
