With Dan Quinn gone from Seattle, Pete Carroll has used some of his recently available coaching spots to again hire former players. With a former Seahawk now coaching the Atlanta Falcons, a former Falcon will help coach the Seahawks.
He was so briefly a Falcon you may not have even remembered he was in Atlanta.

Remember when Curtis Lofton was allowed to become a free agent because he was only a "two-down linebacker"?
Well Thomas Dimitroff replaced him with 2nd year Akeem Dent and recently healthy Lofa Tatupu. Tatupu never made it to a preseason game, quickly suffering a terrible pectoral injury that was the death blow to his career. What makes this worse is we had to watch Dent play football before being traded for a player that was already cut.
I wish Tatupu only the best in his second stint in Seattle. He was a great linebacker for many years, and will likely be a great addition to Seattle's coaching staff.
