The Nate Stupar Mailbag: on the team's championship focus and more

Falcons linebacker Nate Stupar answers your questions about the team, their mindset, and life in general.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The next three games are all on the road. Is there anything you guys do different knowing you're going to be traveling often?

Nate Stupar: No we don't do anything different. We practice the same. Every week is a championship week and we don't stray away from that practice habit.

How are you feeling? You took a pretty good shot in the last game and we're deep into the NFL season at this point.

Nate Stupar: I'm actually feeling good. Football is a contact sport and you're going to get hit the wrong way sometimes. But I'm healthy and can't wait to strap on the pads again this week.

Nate...what did you ask Santa to bring you for Christmas?

Nate Stupar: I actually want one of those hover boards. They look pretty cool. I like to take walks with my wife and baby girl but sometimes my legs are too tired. Having one of those would be nice to take walks with lol

How is the team holding up? It's been a rough month for the Falcons.

Nate Stupar: We had some losses but this is the NFL. It's tough to win in the NFL. Every team is good and if you don't bring your best every game, any team can beat you.

Have you ever eaten an entire pie at Thanksgiving? If so, what kind?

Nate Stupar: Of course I have lol. Pumpkin pie is my go to! Love pumpkin pie!

What's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal?

Nate Stupar: I would have to say having family and friends over. This year I'm away from family but we had friends over which was really nice. Just a nice time to enjoy company and be thankful for the good people you have in your life.
