Matt Ryan injury: QB took hard shot early and appears to be in pain, but has remained in the game

File this one under nebulous injury news: It looks like Matt Ryan took a hard shot on his seven yard scramble earlier in the game, and while it's anyone's guess exactly what's ailing him, he seems to be in pain.

Ok, some people are saying rib for Matt Ryan. Either way, Matt's fighting through whatever's bugging him. #CARvsATL

It says a lot about Ryan that he's going to hang in there during a likely meaningless game, but I'm genuinely hopeful it's a minor injury he won't exacerbate by staying in against the Panthers. The Falcons, of course, would love to beat their division rival and hand them the first loss of the season. Stay tuned for Ryan's status the rest of the way.
