Falcons vs. Panthers Week 16: Game time, channel, radio, odds, and more

What you need to know in this NFC South showdown that matters a lot more to the Falcons' pride than it does to the NFC playoff race.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Panthers and Falcons play again, which is unfortunate, given how the last meeting went.

There's no reason Carolina should lose this game short of resting their starters. Even though Atlanta is at home in this one, the Panthers are the clearly superior team, they dominated the Falcons in every phase back in Week 14, and they would presumably like to keep their win streak against their NFC South rival going.

On the other hand, this is a chance for revenge for the Falcons, who were absolutely humiliated two weeks ago and would presumably like to do something about it. Maybe a motivated Falcons team at home can keep this one close and steal it away, though I'd be lying to you if I said it was likely.

On to what you need to know about the game.
