It has been a while since we've done one of these, but with the 49ers apparently moving into the phase of their franchise history when they're preparing to lose a lot, it's worth considering which players on that roster the Falcons might be interested in.
I'd take a closer look at Carlos Hyde, a back I love even though the the Falcons don't have a huge need at the position. I'd take Torrey Smith, who despite his misfortunes in this offense, would be a nice deep threat for Atlanta. And despite its uncertain fortunes in 2015, the defense has quite a few worthy additions, including safety Eric Reid, cornerback Kenneth Acker, and oft-injured but terrific linebacker NaVorro Bowman. There are plenty of worthy choices, in other words, even though this is a lousy football team with a lot more lousy football in its immediate future.
Who would you choose from this team, Falcons fans?
