Falcons Injury Report: Robert Alford probable for Sunday

New, comments

Devonta Freeman, Leonard Hankerson and Matt Bryant will all miss Sunday's game.

The Falcons will definitely miss Devonta Freeman on the field this Sunday against the Vikings. Freeman, who suffered a concussion last week against the Colts, was not on the field at all for Friday's practice. Dan Quinn confirmed to the media following practice that Freeman will be out for Sunday's game.

Leonard Hankerson began practice working one-on-one with a member of the athletic performance staff. Hankerson, who is battling a hamstring injury, will also be out for Sunday's game. Nick Williams got some reps in with Matt Ryan at the beginning of practice, and I'd expect Williams to be active in Hankerson's place this Sunday.

Matt Bryant was also not on the field for practice, which is not surprising after the team signed Shayne Graham yesterday. Bryant will be held out on Sunday with a quad injury. Graham was also not at practice, as he was excused to attend his father's funeral.

Robert Alford was limited in Thursday's practice with a groin injury, and on Friday Alford was able to practice fully. Alford is listed as probable for Sunday's game.

Robenson Therezie missed last week's game with a hamstring. Therezie practiced fully on Friday and is probable for Sunday.

Andy Levitre, who is dealing with a knee injury, was also upgraded to full practice on Sunday. Levitre is listed as probable for Sunday's game.

Your thoughts on the injuries? What are you expecting from the Falcons on Sunday?
